• The problem isn't the technology in it, it's incompetent employment of this, the installation of the RFID technology with all your personal data on it. All with no encryption to deter or stop identity theft is a ludicrous act of denial of the obvious the way around the Real Id is to simply remotely scan these cards at a distance. & for those who say you have to be 18 inches away from the card to read it, let me remind you other people said there was no way an rfid chip could be read at 69 feet either, yet one was successfully read at the Black hat hackers convention in 2006 in Las Vegas, so much for 18 inches
